BackdropAren't his wallpapers from an app? Does anyone know what app it is?
I for one felt like his review was a little bias. I feel like if the same exact phone was made by htc it would only be 5mins long, he would call the squeeze a gimmick, and he would be all over the screen.
If apple was having the possible screen burn in/retention problems BGR would call it a deliberate and say how innovative they are for it.BGR is one of the most Pro-Apple and Anti-Android love-fests that I have ever seen. Their content is almost always biased in favor of apple and IMO cannot be taken seriously for any Android related content. The fact that they are having a field day with it wouldnt surprise me in the least.

Agreed.I think he explained the display issue quite well.
The thing is, it’s most likely a batch-related issue in regards to quality control. When (and yes, I said when, not if) it is ironed out, it’s one less sore mark on a pretty darn good Android phone.
17 minutes is longer than usual for him, but I think he gets to the heart of what's to love about the second generation of Pixels.
Or maybe he hasn't had the issue? LOLHe took the coward's way out in the video. I get it, he has millions of followers and he doesn't want to make anyone mad.

I would prefer they invest in helping them get better. I'm anti Monopoly.Getting a decent screen on a $950 device shouldn't be like playing the lottery.
LG is garbage and Google should drop them.
