MMS and CleanROM

I've noticed a problem with CleanROM 2.2. Whenever I receive an MMS, I try to download it and get the message, "Message Expired or Not Available."

Does anyone else have problems with MMS not working on ROM's?

Also, in order to get MMS back working, do I get the MSL number and re-enter it back into the phone in the ##data# menu?

And if so, where is it entered in that menu?

I updated the profile and rebooted the phone but to no avail.

Hmmmm....

I can't see to view MMS messages with either the stock text messaging app on CleanRom or the ChompSMS messaging app. Also, whenever I send a message, it seems to send (the phone reports no failed sending notification or signs that the message did not go through) but never arrives at its destination.

Maybe it's either the rom itself or some other conflicting issue.

Alrighty. I figured it out.

Since I have my service on the MVNO, Ting. The MMS address was http://mms.plspictures.com instead of http://mms.sprintpcs.com .

I just typed in ##data# into the phone dialer. Clicked on the MMSC icon. Entered my MSL number that I called Ting about and edited the address and now my MMS works like a charm!

Now, I'm ready for business.
