MMS download file location

When trying to download a picture from an mms the file automatically saves to /sdcard0/download. I don't want the files to save here, I'd like them to save to my download folder on /extsdcard/download. I've tried moving the folder from sdcard0 into the download folder of extsdcard but that didn't do anything. Is there anyway to make this work?

An option in the SETTINGS gives you a choice of where pics will automatically save. (I initially selected the external SD card so I've not needed to move them.)

Where at in the settings are you seeing this? The first time I used the camera it asked where I wanted to save pictures I take with the phone which I set to the external sd card but the attachments from messages don't save there, they save to the downloads folder in the device memory and I can't figure out how to change it.
