MMS not sending through Textra (on Project Fi)

I've not been able to send an MMS (GIF, photo, etc.) using Textra on Project Fi. The native messaging app on my 6P has absolutely no issues. I've tried the workarounds suggested within Textra - switching to Legacy, imposing a message size limit - to no avail. No matter what I get those 3 green dots suggesting the app is attempting to send.

Has anyone else experienced this issue and found a way to fix it? Thank you!

It's been the case since I started using the app. Everyone said it's the best out there, so I wanted to take a gander. This is actually my second time trying. I uninstalled and reinstalled in hopes it was a simple glitch, but no dice.

Have you checked all your settings for you messages? There is also a potential issue with the carrier itself. When using third party apps, sometimes the carrier settings are not properly applied to be able to send MMS messages.

Also, within the settings of the Textra app go to Settings>MMS>MMS Behavior and change it to "System". That might help too.

Thank you! So as it turns out, Project Fi limits MMS to 1MB per message. No one would know that without asking, so I had to find out through their customer service. Once I made that change my problems went away.
