odd. maybe change messaging apps. textra is excellent and it has a limits option, including unlimited, etc. and that would be yes ma'am.


is there anything under the MM option?

Turn on wifi calling and turn data on. See if the "Chat" settings menu appears as above.

ALso make sure you have done every system update and every samsung text app updates.

Gotta check everything

That's cause AT&T is way different.

Try resetting your network settings. Then try and do some test texts

Are you accessing what you screenshot from the message app by tapping the Messages icon or navigating a different way? If so, tap the Messages icon to enter the menus.

I am opening the messaging app then the hamburger menu from there.

Both devices are on 1.5

Ive been capturing 1.1 scrrenshots and don't have a 1.5 updated phone available. I can't be more help at this time. Good luck

Went to at&t store. They swapped the sim cards and check provisioning, still dont work. This is crazy. I realize I can use a 3rd party app but still this should work on the native stuff. Frustrations setting in now

Yeah , like I mentioned either 3rd party message app or maybe look at another device. Try Google message

Turned advanced messaging off and it works!! Just don't get send/read receipts

It's crazy I know ,got be a bug or maybe try disable the back up message from Att
