mms/sms help

Please help, it's really annoying and bothering me. Everytime I get a group text or sometimes sms text, it says download. So I always have to press it and force download it. Anyway to bypass that? Autoretrieve messages is already on.

I know that on Verizon, at least, group texts and MMS messages require mobile data to be on, and will prompt you to download. I think group texts are redirected as an MMS message instead of SMS, for reasons that are beyond me.
