MMS Straight Talk Issue. CORRECT APN SETTINGS

Here's the APN settings I use on my nexus 5 and it works fine for me.. Also the same settings my girlfriend uses on her nexus 4.. Remember to save and reboot your phone after setting them.. Also MMS only works with mobile data turned on, does not work over WiFi..

tfdata doesn't work on my Nexus with the AT&T SIM. The settings that do work:

APN: att.mvno
MMSC: http://mmsc.cingular.com
MMS_PROXY: 66.209.11.33
MMS PORT: 80
MMS_APN: att.mvno

I didn't set any other fields. Reboot the phone, viola. I've had ST for some time, the settings may depend on how long you've had the service? I was using different settings before today, but MMS never worked. It now works for the first time with these settings.

I didn't mess with hangouts, but I did delete all APNs first and reboot the phone.

Hmmm weird, I'm using the at&t sim on straight talk too. I've only been on their service since end of February this year, but my girlfriend has been on it for over 2 years or so at least also the at&t sim. Just got her the nexus for couple weeks ago and this APN worked from the get go. It's weird how how many different APN's there are and how only certain ones work with certain phones even tho they're the same phones and networks..

THANK YOU Brian Quick1, i spent countless hours with the complete idiots at straight talk for over a week trying to fix the mms on my new ZTE phone and none of them ( i spoke with over 8 employees ) ever knew what they were doing. i even spoke to someone from tracfone's corporate office and he knew less than the people in the P.I. (even though they all still knew more than me!)
so in desperation i found this website and started reading. in less than 5 minutes i found this thread, plugged in your APN settings and I now have my MMS working. amazing the information to be found here, i hope that i never need to contact tech support again at ST.
my phone is a ZTE Z998 at&t phone that I brought over to ST with a new micro sim card. your settings did the trick.
thanks again

THANK YOU Brian Quick1,
your settings worked great for my phone:
ZTE Z998 (at&t phone that I bought a new micro sim for from wally world and brought over to straight talk)

i made an account here just to tell you thanks, i flashed the viper rom onto my phone and i didnt feel like calling straight talk in the morning to get the right settings, again thanks man

Is your MMS not working after inputting the APN info correctly?
or are you asking for help regarding something that you should google and is not even relevant to this thread? If so start your own thread in the correct forum.

This thread is for Google Nexus 5 Owners that are having trouble with MMS that was working correctly prior to moving to a new phone mid PIN code.

Awesome thank you, couldbnot figure it out until I read this and now it works awesome. I have a 4.4.2 android but not nexus and it still worked for me. Thanks!!

Hi Retha. The APN settings are not the same for each phone. We can identify the correct APN settings through your phone number. Thanks.

I did a factory rest on my Nexus 5 when I got the new Lollipop update and did the start my phone as a new device. Guess it found the APN settings by it's self. Here are some screenshots of it too and it gave me 3 APN's instead.Screenshot_2014-11-18-21-08-04[1].jpg
