Mobile Nations acquired by Future PLC

Re: Android Central is under a sale transaction, apparently

Oh man, I hope the experience I've had on these sites for years doesn't change. I don't want to see crappy, clickbait articles.

@HelloNNNewman @Heavens1 @Mooncatt @Almeuit @B. Diddy

Hey all!

To cut to the chase, @Golfdriver97, you're right... this isn't bad news, it's GREAT news! This is just the beginning of a new journey for all of us including our members, and amazing volunteers like you!

Everyone on our team that you've worked with including @Michelle Haag, @Bla1ze and myself aren't going anywhere. We're now part of a larger family of communities and we're super excited about it. TL/DR, you should be too.

In the months ahead we're going to need your help, feedback and expertise as we GROW our volunteer group and take on new challenges. I hope you'll stick with us for the ride (I know you will), because it's going to be a lot of fun!

Any questions, concerns, ANYTHING - hit me up direct or in this thread. I've been working on an update for the volunteers but it looks like you beat me to the punch :)

What about Crackberry Kevin?

It has become AC= advertising central, and iAdvertiseMore. Really have gone over the edge.

Re: Android Central is under a sale transaction, apparently

I'm venturing a weak guess that if it was purposely omitted, a buyer would be interested in only 'sure things'. And Blackberry's future has been pretty shaky. I would have thought that WC would have been off the list, but I guess that site has migrated away from phones to everything Windows. Blackberry is hurting (look at how they now have Android OS) and hopefully will survive and not be lost like Windows Mobile and the greatest OS of all time (IMHO) webOS.

Like I said.. I know as much as you all and this is just a wild guess. :)
CrackBerry is about more than BlackBerry handsets. It is also the go to place for news about what BlackBerry is now doing as a software company (and there is a lot going on). It Is really a go to place for BlackBerry news and the company as a whole.

I don't know about anyone else, but I hope the new (UK) owners host the mona site in the EU - where privacy laws can respect the person first and the corporation etc second.

Does hosting site matter? I’m guessing this is GDPR related?
