Mobile Network doesnt work in Samsung GSIII Mini.

I have a samsung galaxy s3 mini with Android 4.1.2 jellybean, i turned airplane mode on for like an hour and when i turned it off mobile network wasnt working, the "H+" icon just shows up and disappears after a few seconds. Ive tried lots of possible solutions; rebooting, taking the sim card off, airplane mode, reset network operators and Access Point names, and my wifi is always off.

is there a solution besides taking it to my provider?

Hmmm... now that i think about it that could be the problem its about 2-3 years old!

well it seems the problem got fixed by itself for no apparent reason, i just leave it be on wifi while i was at home and when i went out the mobile data was already working!

I will admit I am curious what happened to 'break' it then 'fixed' it, but sometimes, you just smile, be thankful it worked out, and just let it be.

Hi. I'm having the same problem with a Samsung Galaxy S4, running on KitKat 4.4.2. About a month ago, it happened as well but it fixed itself after a day. I assumed it was because I got a new battery (the old one was bloated). Now, it happened again. Problem is, it's not fixing itself now.

My SIM card is exactly a year and two months old.

Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
