Modem crashing (phone ram dump)

ok so im a very lost girl lol..... my friend rooted my phone to 2.3 everything was working fine till 2 hours ago my modem crashed i dont know anything about rooting im completey lost in the subject but i need help how do i fix this his out of town and i really need my phone how do i restore it to factory 2.2 please help if u going to explain somethhing do it very slow u know like rooting for dummies or some like that lol:-[

i did guys thanks you save my life lol i used the links and some youtube video of this guys doing it step by step n got my phone is finally working and back to 2.2 is it normal is running slow???????

I think you might have just gotten used to the speed of the Custom ROM haha. Other than that, I think it would be a bad idea for anyone else to root for another person because that person has no knowledge of what they're doing. But lucky for you, you got this great community .
