Mophie case now available

I would actually prefer the bulk to a power bank. I just keep mine in my bag and I'll use it when I need it. I can stay on the move with this compared to being tethered to a power bank. I do wish the back wasn't so slick though.

Good looking out on the price. Got best buy to match it.

That's a valid point, power bank is a drag while hooked up, the Mophie you can still be on the move.

well $80 is better then $100. The phone should have plenty of protection with it being thicker as long as it doesn't come apart.

Ok I'll agree with that. My wife has used one on all her iPhones for the past three phones and it definitely comes in handy so I was interested, but I'm just not feeling that price tag.

I don't think I'll pull the trigger on it. I'm surprised that Verizon has them on sale, they very rarely put those on sale.

just came from best buy to do a price match no problems they honored Verizon pricing. felt 20 dollars are better in my pocket then Best Buys

The Charge Force is way better than the Juice Pack IMHO. I absolutely hate adding bulk. Yet I am looking forward to the partnership between Mophie and Otterbox (loved the uniVerse line for the s6). Also I found out that the concept is little bit of a knock of. They market it as a new innovative product and I-blades are doing this for 3 years or more

Ok so I bought the Juice Pack. I was considering the newer charge force case however I got to see the Juice Pack in person and it was not much thicker than the Otterbox defender that I have been using. I was going away on a trip so it was perfect timing to try it out. Here are my thoughts after a week.

It's very high quality, feels well made. It is bulkier and heavier than standard cases but that is to be expected. It has a nice soft touch feel to it though it's a little slick but not slippery. They designed the shape of it really well as it is very comfortable to hold. It does have a small lip on the front top and bottom (not as pronounced as the Defender) which I did unintentionally test out, it survived a face plant on to concrete so the lip did it's job and protected the screen. The fingerprint sensor is much deeper with the bulk of the case but still works fine, I was concerned about it but it's not an issue.

It has wireless charging so it works with any wireless charger (I have two different brands and it works with both) and pass through charging so it charges the phone first then the case. You can also charge it wired and it does still fast charge. The case redirects the speakers to be front facing which is really nice. It does work with Samsung pay although it was hit and miss on some terminals.

Here is the thing that really sold me - the charge force car vent mount charger. It's super convenient, it's magnetic and is wireless. It's just so easy to stick it on the mount when you get in the car and not fumble with cords.

I love not having to stress about battery life. It came in very handy on my first trip as I was in a place that didn't have a strong signal so my battery was draining fast and I used the case a few times. I can use the phone with full function, full brightness, etc. without having to worry. I like it so much it's probably going to be my daily driver.

well said naturalguy I use it as my daily case adds more bulk but not bad. gives good protection and never have to worry about running out of battery. Also love the car charger do not have to fumble with wires great magnet do not worry about phone falling off mount and charges the minute it is connected.

Cool reviews guys thx. Does it charge via micro USB or USB C?

Thx, after I posted the question I googled around and found out, my bad.

Still not sure it's worth it. Seems slippery, bulky and less protective than I'd like.

It's very protective (I'd consider it a heavy duty case) but it's not for everyone because of the size however if you need/want the extra battery life, it's great.

I can attest that this case is very rugged. I had a nasty drop in a parking lot getting out of my car, screen side down and it bounced around a flipped a few times. Phone was perfect, a few scuffs on the case, it did it's job.

Thank you for that and I'm glad your phone survived. As great as this is to hear, I'm thinking you may not have dropped it at all with the grippy OtterBox Defender case on it. Just playing a little devils advocate.
