More custom modes?

Hey,

Is there a way to get more custom modes like quiet mode so you can choose to activate and deactivate certain functions?

I.e., Car Mode - enable bluetooth, disable wifi, enable location/gps, disable rotation.
Home Mode - enable wifi, disable location gps, enable rotation.

etc.

Tasker?

Not free ($3) and there's a learning curve. (Well worth the money once you learn how to use it and realize that a) you can do things there's no app for and b) you can replace half of your apps with tasks.)

I don't know how you'd determine "Car" mode - powered by USB? An NFC card? Connected to your car audio?

But when I'm home, wifi is on, mobile data is off, USB debugging is on, there's no screen lock, keyguard is off, etc. (Press power and I'm on the homescreen.) When I run Maps, GPS and mobile data (if it's not already on) are on. Things like that.
