Wondering if anyone has a Moto 360 being used on a Nexus 5. If so, what has been your experience with battery life on both devices? Do both drain pretty quickly? Whenever I have a bluetooth connection with my Nexus 5, the battery drains pretty quickly and gets hot so was wondering if the connection with the Moto 360 was similar.

I'm sure others will chime in based on their experiences and I will as well as soon as mine arrives (tomorrow) and I've had a few days to feel it out. But, that's the exact combo I'll have.

My friend has the Nexus 5 and all I hear about it is how fast the battery life is. And now the Moto 360 is getting all of this rep on bad battery...

I've had my Moto 360 connected to my Nexus 5 for about a week now and the battery life of the watch has been great. Battery life is all relative of course, because everybody's usage patterns are different.

I pick the watch off the charger around 7AM and put it back on around 10PM and it usually has about 30-40% left on it when I'm done.

Google handles both my work and personal email accounts, so that's nice. I only have notifications for my priority inboxes though, because I didn't need the constant vibrations for marketing email.

Using the watch instead of my phone has helped my Nexus 5 battery as well as I don't light the screen up nearly as often to check notifications.

How about the battery life of the Nexus 5? Do you think the battery drains faster because you have a constant bluetooth connection to the phone?

I do not, but I have always kept Bluetooth on 24-7 so I didn't expect to see a difference.

It connects to my car, speakers at home and other devices all day so I just leave it on.

I have not found any solution yet but all I can say is that my Nexus 5 battery is drained SO SO FAST since I've a Moto 360.
Before having a Moto 360, my nexus 5 battery life was more than a day. Since I have it, it runs out in less than 5 hours !!!

Anybody having the same issue or having a solution?
