Moto 360 rarely recognizing "OK Google"

My Moto 360 only recognizes when I say "OK Google" about 10-20% of the time. Is there a way to voice train it like the Moto X? Is anyone else having problems with this? I am making sure that the watch is active (showing the second hand), where a simple tap activates OK Google. For some reason, it just doesn't like my voice.

I have a Droid Maxx and yes I have this problem at times. I don't think there's a way to train it. However, my phone will answer me when I say Okay Google instead of my 360 when I don't want it to. Do you have that Problem?

Is there anything covering your microphone? I've had no issues with mine EXCEPT when my sleeves cover the mic. But for the rest of times, when I turn to look at it, the screen comes on, I can say OK GOOGLE and it fires it up.

Hmm...It works for me almost every single time.

Where's the microphone?

I find that there is a small delay from when the screen lights up and the watch is ready to accept voice input - must be a side effect of the slower processor they chose for the Moto 360.

For daily usage, I never use "OK Google" as my trigger, although I have tested it and it works. When I want to actually use voice control, I just tap the screen when my watch face is displayed, and the watch displays the phrase "Speak now", and then I speak. Is this a practical alternative?
