Welcome to Android Central! The 1st gen Moto G is pretty ancient these days -- I think it's stuck on Lollipop, right? You're better off looking for a more current phone. You'd probably start running into more compatibility issues on that old phone as more and more APIs get deprecated.

I came here for asking how to repair

Re: moto g 1st edition 2 issues

1. We cannot diagnose hardware issues without examining the device.
2. Rewriting IMEI is illegal in most countries. We do not offer advice about this, sorry.

I know that. But in case you thought repairing this phone would give you many more years of functionality, I wanted to make sure you were aware of this.

Re: moto g 1st edition 2 issues

own legal imei I cant get back?

YOu probably can but as the process is illegal in most countries we cannot talk about it here. Further, because of this we have no expertise in that area. I am sure you will find someone that can help but I'm afraid we can't.

Re: moto g 1st edition 2 issues

It will probably cost you more to fix the phone than to buy a new Motorola for around £100-200.
