Moto G (2015) no sound via speaker after Marshmallow update

I upgraded 2 Moto Gs to Marshmallow (6.0) and one went smooth and the other not so much.

Something went wonky. Notification pull down and home button stopped working in addition to the no sound or ring issue.

I have cleared the cache and hard reset the phone twice. Bluetooth sound works fine but there is no ringing or speaker sound.

Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Hmm... Assuming these are stock, locked devices you have 2 choices here: RMA it to Motorola for repair or wait for the stock Marshmallow image for your device and reflash it manually.
