Moto G, International Bandwagon?

Only 8gb but that could be successful for motorola if true for those who don't need too much storage. If I get one I'll be opting for a 16gb as I don't think there is memory card support.

Truth be told, I'd rock a 4GB Moto X if I could - even with no SD card.

You can't store more than a few apps, maybe some pics. Nowhere near enough.

All I'd really "need" are Google Drive, Google Keep, Instagram, Facebook, Google+, Ingress, Snapseed, and Android Central.

True. For some reason when I have pics on NY SD card it still shows in the device storage. Like half a gig :(

500MB is not a lot. What you are probably seeing is cached memory or pictures that are still on the sd card.

Another thing to note that these devices being sold at good prices off contract are going to hopefully start setting a trend that hopefully becomes the new standard: Good devices at low prices and unlocked.

Ahh.
Well I have only a 1GB of Internet Data atm, so I couldnt solely depend on these cloud services :p Or my data would dissapear, I already get close to 0 as it is.

In a few years, the "low-end" devices are probably going to have the specs that today's flagships do. The GS2 has a 1.2 GHz dual-core processor. Today that's "low-end" like the Moto G. Even though that has a quad-core. Same with 720p displays last year vs this year. Eventually even the cheap ones are going to have all this good stuff, but then it will be "outdated" :p
