I have had a Moto g2 for about a year and it is about to go away for repair for the 3rd time.
First time it started notifying SD card removed so I would take off back & slide card out & put back in for a temporary fix, this progressed to the point if you took SD card out it would tell you sim was removed, sent to tesco for repair.
Second time same fault started so dealt with Motorola direct and phone sent off again.
It started throwing SD card out again so onto online help with Motorola who suggested amongst other things that SD card was too high spec ??? & To go for a lower spec one, soft reset performed
Again the SD card started chatting thrown out so performed full reset from the startup menu and that lasted a couple of weeks and now it's happening again.
Motorola won't replace as it has not been repaired enough times, they are arranging repair through lenovo.
It is a total PITA when it goes as I am without a phone for 10 days and this will be the 3rd SD card it has borked and I am getting just a bit irritated.
Am I just unlucky or is this a common problem with these phones?
