Moto G5 - I jdriving me nuts!!!

I just bought this phone yesterday having been with Samsung for years, so trying to be very patient with the new Moto G5. BUT, I cannot figure out how to get icons to display (whatsapp, facebook, etc.) Everything keeps telling me there is an apps drawer (an icon with dots on it) but there isn't on my phone. So how on earth do I keep my apps on my desktop please?

Welcome to the forums. They changed the way to access the app drawer. Now you have to swipe up from the little arrow over the dock.

As Javier said, swiping up from the bottom dock is the new way to open the app drawer. If you still want to use the button, you'll have to use a different launcher, like Nova Launcher: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.teslacoilsw.launcher

It's similar to the one that comes on the phone, but allows more customization (including adding an app drawer button).
