Android Central Question

Ever since I have started using WhatsApp and have been downloading photos from it, I have been having some serious trouble on my Moto. (I believe it is WhatsApp, as I haven't installed anything else recently.)

Firstly, my Moto G5 refuses to take screenshots anymore. When I attempt to, I get a notification from Android system was "Couldn't capture screenshot: Can't save screenshot due to limited storage space." I wanted to do the renaming file trick, which has worked before, but when I attempted to install one, Google redirected me to a Moto file manager, that doesn't even have the ability to rename folders! And it won't even let me install any other apps as well, due to an error on Google play, or it just doesn't install at all!

Next, that's not the only thing acting up. Each time I attempt to take a photo on camera, I get a popup saying 'Camera Error: Please restart camera'. I have force stopped the app, rebooted, cleared it's cache yet it refuses to work. This happens with many other apps too; when I attempt to transfer a photo from messenger, Snapchat, discord etc to my camera roll, it refuses to save it there. I used to have problems with messenger and my photos never sent to conversations, even if I had full bars or not. After uninstalling some apps this worked again.

Furthermore, when I attempt to delete photos/folders and rename folders from Google photos, they don't. When I attempt to delete them manually by transferring them to the rubbish bin and wiping the bin, they always reappear in my photos. (I use an SD card, just in case you're wondering.)

The thing that frustrates me the most is that my Moto claims to have 'limited storage space' but the truth is, I've only used 7.5GB out of my 10.03GB on my phone, and 11.61GB out of my 29.70 on my SD card. I still have about 2.5GB to run through, and normally on other android phones if I had the exact same storage left I wouldn't be having these problems.

Please help! I don't know if I just need to clear up even more space or if it's something more sinister. I'd really like to be able to take screenshots, download photos, delete photos and install apps again!
