My wife has a Moto G5 Plus and has trouble answering her phone. She says when she gets a phone call it’s not that she can’t swipe the screen...when phone rings and I pick up phone the screen doesn’t show I have a call and no where to click to answer call.

Has anyone experienced this I need some help figuring this out?

Yes, lots of posts about this on the Moto forum, G5, G6, Moto Z Play, Moto Z Force, Moto Z2 Play. No known "fix" yet. Just a workaround to reboot the phone often.

Also, do you have any security type apps installed, battery saver apps, or "performance" boosting apps? Some folks have said those cause the screen to not display correctly when a call comes through.

Dang didn’t want to hear that it’s a known issue and no fix kind of important to be able to answer a phone. Pretty unacceptable in my opinion that Motorola hasn’t fixed this definitely wouldn’t have bought it had I known.

No not any apps like that she has a tempered glass protector installed but from what you’ve said it sounds more like a software thing.

On my daughter's Z Play it did not happen in Safe Mode (at least not the few times we tried) and didn't happen all the time. It was very intermittent. Others have described similar experiences.... happening intermittently and rebooting often seems to help. I was going to do a factory reset, but read many posts from others saying the problem came back eventually. She got so tired of it she bought her own replacement phone.

Does anyone know of any apps that would make it easier to answer calls possibly one of these would work. Even if the Moto was answering like it should my wife has trouble swiping to answer... she needs a big Accept and Deny button that should could just tap on.
