Moto G5 Plus Volume

Been reading about how bad the volume is on the Moto G5 Plus ever since it was released and with no updates to fix it.

This seems like such a great budget phone and receiving pretty much universally good reviews. Ironically these reviews don’t tend to mention the poor volume.

This would be perfect for my wife but she would use it for making calls. Just how bad is the volume?

I hope you don't mind, but I moved this from the General News forum to the Moto G5 Plus forum, where you're more likely to get direct responses from G5 Plus users.

My wife used a G5 Plus for a while, and didn't have any issues with call volume -- however, the dealbreaker for her was that the Bluetooth call audio was terrible. She's on her phone constantly for work, and uses a Plantronics Voyager Legend Bluetooth headset. It's definitely a high quality headset, and is crystal clear with amazing ambient noise reduction when paired with her previous Note5 and her current Pixel XL, but when paired with the G5 Plus, audio was distorted and crackly on both ends. This persisted with a replacement G5 Plus, so it seemed less likely to be a fluke.

Thanks for moving this guess issues like call volume and Bluetooth don't matter for phone reviewers. The G5 Plus doesn't look like it's the best when using for calling I'll keep looking.
