Moto TurboPower Pack

I am starting to wonder if there is some kind of problem with the Turbopower Pack preventing the wide release. Not necessarily related to the power storage/charging, but maybe the software, fit/finish, etc.

I for one no longer care about the tubo power pack. Just picked up the Moto external Power Pack and it's terrific. Very low profile, noticeably lighter than the Incipio battery mod (which I have but will be sending back), and I like the texture on the back. Furthermore, **much** cheaper! I'm 100% impressed!

If you just got this at Best Buy right before they dropped the price, call them up and they'll credit your account for the difference. I did that yesterday and was credited $10 plus the tax.

I got my TurboPower mod today. The rubber back is great and it works well with the Verizon bumper. I really like the low profile.

Just to clarify, you received the Turbopower battery mod, 3490 mAh. Are you leaving it on all the time? How is the weight when it's on the phone?

That is the one I purchased. I head it on my phone all day yesterday. It is obviously heavier than the regular phone. I also have the soundboost2. It is lighter than that.

After awhile I got used to it. Today I took it off when the battery mod was fully drained. The regular phone seemed so much lighter.

I could see myself keeping it on more than I planned too. I waited for this one because it can both turbo charge the phone and be turbo charged.

Based on my usage patterns over the last several months, I don't need a battery mod for a normal day. On days I go to events or go out taking tons of pictures and videos, it's nice to have. The challenge of buying USB C chargers that are manufactured correctly made the purchase of the TurboPower mod a no brainier. I already bought a name brand USB C car charger that killed my first Moto Z Force.

I went to my local Verizon store yesterday and I picked up my Moto Turbopower Pack mod. Does anyone have any questions? I will be happy to answer any if I can.

Which Z do you have? How do you plan to use the mod, 24/7 or just to charge when needed? How's the weight and bulk?

I have the Z Force. I plan on using it 24/7 like my Incipio mod. To me it doesnt seem like that much weight has been added. I like some weight to my phone. The grips on the back of the mod are nice to help when holding.

Can you post a picture up close of how much the mod sticks out past the camera hump?

I've had the turbo power pack on my phone for a couple days.
It makes the Z2 Play about the size and weight of the Moto X Pure Edition. Maybe a bit heavier.
I have it on efficiency mode, which does nothing, until the phone is down to 80%, then the pack keeps the phone at 80%.
I haven't charged either all day and they've been off the charger for 15.5 hours. Today was moderate use, with much of the day spent in a low signal area. The pack is at 2% and the phone is at 80%.
I am using the Verizon bumper with the Turbo Pack. The bumper is obscuring the charging port on the Turbo Pack. Last night, the phone was at 80%,while the Turbo Pack was dead. The Verizon bumper allows easy removal of the mod, without removing the bumper. I popped the mod free from the phone and charged the pack and not the phone. This morning the pack was 100%, while the phone was about 76%.
I don't think I'll use this setup daily, because I am not away from charging sources and the bulk /weight is a bit much.
I really like the slim and light Z2 Play.

Also, I am unsure why my pics are doubled. They aren't when I choose to edit the post. \_0_/
