Moto Voice does not recognize caller or text message sender

I upgraded to Marshmellow when it was first available for the MXPE. Moto Voice would announce the caller or text message sender correctly while in driving mode or at home. Now all it says is "new message from unknown sender". I'm wondering if an app update broke it. I've been checking app permissions and settings, but can't find the culprit. Any ideas?

I an into this exact issue when I upgraded as well. I came across a thread somewhere about flushing the cache to get it to recognize the links. If I find it again, I'll post a link. But, it is fixable. I thought I'd lost my contacts after the update when it first started doing it to me.

Give this a try and see if your incoming calls and messages get properly identified with your contacts again.
