Old vs new. White front red accents, and ebony rich looking wood on the back. 32 gig. I love red. The prices extras my nickname androidmaster however with the wood basculin realize that the etching you can't see it so my dad I have to p touch it haha

Hello everyone I created a new thread called "moto x 3rd gen ?"

I basically created this thread to give moto X users a chance to share their thoughts and opinions as to what the 2015 edition should be or have based on the user's desires

I think I'll spend some time enjoying my 2014 model before I start worrying about the next one.

The blue back is actually a little brighter than the camera made it look.

That blue looks amazing! Blues my favorite color, but the bamboo. I am obsessed with it hahaha.

Thanks I appreciate it man on my first generation Moto X, had to read backing with black lettering for my angry man, this one is the ebony wood which I always wanted to try out and I love it!

This is the one I'm currently using. White, Spice, and Orange. Personalized with Hello Moto, which is written in gold and almost impossible to see. I am just not happy with the color combo I chose so I will be exchanging this one. I love the Spice but couldn't find a color combo that made it "pop".

This time around ordered a Black, Turquoise, and Violet. It should be here next Monday so I'll post more photos then. I didn't see many examples of Spice out there so I thought I'd share before I send it back!

(Photos aren't the clearest quality, as they were taken with my tablet, but the color is very accurate)

I honestly can't get over the engraving... It would be fine if you could read it with the gold but it's aggravating to have it there and not be able to see it. Also I should have gone with another trim color... I want the dimple to stand out. As indecisive as I am, I hope I really really like the Turquoise. Don't want to go through the exchange process again!

Oh I so totally agree with you! The engraving of my first generation Moto X was better because of the road back in with the black lettering! But the new one in my ebony wood finish with engraving in the wood, you can see the regular stock and gravy from Motorola at all. Like I said, my dad and I went to the p touch machine and I put my engraving in in big bold white letters hahaha.

I ordered my replacement on 02/20 at about 2pm EST and didn't get my build email until last night at 7pm. The original expected date when ordered was March 6th. Moto support said it should arrive on the 2nd.

My last one was ordered on Friday the 6th at 5:30pm, shipped on Thursday at 3am and arrived on the 13th. I also got my build email a day earlier for that one.

I ordered mine last Tuesday the 17th and received the shipping confirmation on Monday night(23rd). The expected delivery in the email said this coming Monday, the 2nd. But the FedEx tracking says expected delivery date is this Friday.

Here's my shipping information as it happened. It seems to be going along quite quickly. Apparently I should have it sometime today. A day ahead of the FedEx expected date, and three days ahead of the Motorola expected date.

I got my shipping notification early this morning... If it follows the same path as my first one I'll have it before 4 pm tomorrow, 3 days early if you include the weekend. It should arrive in TN late tonight and in VA first thing in the morning. The shipping time from China to the US is pretty impressive!

Agreed! I was very surprised when I was notified it would arrive on Friday. Then this morning seeing it out for delivery, and arrive within a half hour of that notification is very impressive!

So my replacement Moto X arrived today. I have to say I'm pretty pleased with the turquoise and violet. I will miss the orange, but I can't keep both!! It's just a shame that it will be covered with a case.
