Moto X 2014 help!! Major battery drain issues

My moto x (2013) is dropping at a rate of more than 10% per hour. I had to charge it up 3 times yesterday to make it through. I can't pinpoint an app that is drainning it, although i work in a poor ATT coverage area, so i know it takes a hit there. However, this is way faster than just a few days ago, so I know something has changed.

Looking at the screenshot you're phone is constantly awake, something is running all the time. Have you tried a restart to see if it cleared up the issue. You can also go into settings>app manager>swipe over to running and see what apps?processes are active. That may give you a clue to what is going on. Have you added any new apps just prior to this issue?

I've seen this happen when I've installed an app that runs in the foreground all of the time. Is there an app with a really high battery usage? Also look at Developer Options -> Process Stats and change to Foreground to see this.

try and find out whats awake, what's awakening the phone.

could also be you may need a battery replacement

are you charging using a new charging device, a new power brick? Using different charging method?

try phone in airplane mode, see if it helps achieve better battery

Using the same charger I have been. Can anyone point me to developer options, I can't find it. Sad I know. lol

I've been deleting things..the only new app is a weather and clock widget. maybe that's it?

fyi, this is the 2014 moto x thread

however, for developer options, go into settings > about phone > build number > tap on build number multiple times

It's not the charger or battery since the battery screenshot shows that the device is awake all of the time.

Go one screen back from your screenshot and see what apps are using the most battery.

I was having bad drain problems on my X. Check your Google location settings, it might be using a lot. Keep the GPS off. Also I went into the bootloader menu and cleared the caches. I also uninstalled unnecessary apps until I could pinpoint what was using battery. Now it's back to normal.

Also wifi
There's a wifi setting which continuously searches/scans for wifi
Need to deactivate
