Have you received your hint?

Been trying to order one for wife for looong time. Site says out of stock every day :-(

If you did receive, what's your impression? Can you compare it to other BT headsets you've used? And finally, what do you like/dislike about it most?

I have not, I contacted Moto and they said it would not ship out until the 13th of October...I've been waiting and I guess I will continue to wait.

I find it strange there is a lack of reviews on the hint in youtube, other places too

I got mine today, and I'm pretty disappointed. It basically just opens Google Now, which my current $35 headset does. I love GN as much as the next guy, but when you give it a command, the screen turns on. So if you say "send a text to my wife" and say it, it responds "Do you want to send this?" and you still have to look at the screen to confirm.

It also is much quieter than my current headset - even with the phone at full volume, it's not easy to hear when I'm on the street.

Unless there's a Moto Voice update which gives it some additional functionality, I'll eventually return it.

Anyone else with opinions yet?

How is the audio passthrough? Do you feel like you could forget it's there and wear it all day?

The volume and having to look at the screen issues are concerning - I was really eyeballing this.

Very comfortable to wear. I didn't play with the passthrough much, though. In my short time, I couldn't really tell the difference.

Couldn't tell the difference, like you couldn't tell it was doing audio passthrough, or ??

When I spoke with a Moto CS rep, they told me that the Hint should be back in stock around the end of the month (Oct).

What's the point if I have a moto x and a 360…? Seriously, give me a reason to buy this. It seems like it wouldn't add much to my current experience. I want one but.. I might use my $25 certificate from Moto on those snazzy wireless ear buds

Ok enough with the bending beeswax

Personally I don't have much use for it, I find it really neat, though having 360 is enough for me, however wife finds hint useful to her (if comfortable)

It's actually fairly comfortable, you don't really even notice it. But the lack of playback controls (just pause) is a real pain. I'v been trying various 3rd party solutions to implement a software solution, but so far I haven't had much luck. Damn shame too, because the form factor is perfect.
