I got my Pure edition that I ordered on day 1. 32GB, white front, navy blue back. Estimated delivery date was 9/26 and that's when it showed up.

How do you like it? We have not conversed since the good ole S4 GPE, I loved that phone til it got borked on the sd card by an update...

I also ordered a Verizon one that day (about 4am Central time)- very jelly that you already have a tracking number. I'm checking my order status about every 5 minutes which I know isn't healthy.

If you don't already have one, create a profile with FedEx. That way, they will alert you to incoming shipments. I found out it was on the way via this method and not through any communications from Motorola. In fact, I still haven't received an update from Moto. But FedEx was kind enough to furnish me the tracking #, ship date, delivery date, option to reroute delivery, etc.

So it also doesn't show on your Motorola order history? Interesting... Probably gonna end up doing this tonight. I've got a big vacation coming up and it'd be sweet to have my new toy to play with.

Motorola has been very unhelpful with their ordering process...and very unfair. I ordered on the 18th and am told I can expect delivery on 10/13. I read stories of folks who ordered an identical phone as mine getting their order within 4-5 days. I still have no definitive word on when mine will arrive. Of course, I was immediately charged! Very frustrating.

So far so good. It's very fast and the screen looks great. Camera could be a little better, but I don't mind it. RF reception is better than the S4 GPE as well. Build quality is very nice - it feels like a premium phone. I really like the active display and being able to just wave my hand over the screen to see if I have any notifications. I did like the notification LED on the S4, but I'm glad to lose the home button and have the onscreen buttons the way Google intended them. I had told myself a couple of years ago that I wouldn't go back to Moto after all of the ridiculousness with the LTE Xoom, but I decided to give them one more shot and so far, I'm glad I did.

I agree completely on the SD card fiasco with the GPE S4. Google really pissed me off with that one. The sold the phone with a working card then took it away.

The message that says "it's being assembled" doesn't mean anything.

I ordered a 16gb white/leather model, which was supposed to be delivered today (the 29th). On friday, they sent me an email saying that my order has been delayed for two weeks.

Motorola followed up by calling me on Saturday, asking whether or not I wanted to cancel. I asked them whether or not I could switch to 32gb, since that's what I originally wanted. They were very helpful during the call. I told them I preferred a 32gb model, and mentioned that I built one with a black front that had an estimated delivery time that said August 8th-- about the same time as the delayed 16gb model. They verified this while I was on the phone with them, and I ended up canceling the original phone and reordering a 32gb black front with bamboo back. The employee was excited about getting his Moto X order, too.

I received a confirmation email about the cancelation in an hour and am now in queue again. If you have questions about the order, it might be a good idea to call up Motorola.

Ordered mine on the 26th. Just got an email saying delivery on the 1st! Was supposed to be the 8th!

Perhaps we should all list what we chose to get a better idea of WHAT'S delaying the orders.

I ordered a black leather/black face/black trim, Verizon model, on 09/26 around 4AM EST and was given an estimated delivery of 10/03. It will be delivered tomorrow, 09/30, a few days early.

I just ordered this morning (09/29) a Pure Edition model (same look) and was given an estimated delivery of 10/09. I've already received an email saying it is being assembled so I'm expecting delivery a lot earlier than what I was quoted.

I ordered a Pure a Edition black leather/black face/silver trim on the 18th and was given a delivery date of 10/13. Nothing has changed since then. Called Motorola tonight and they said the phone was completed but was not ready to ship out. The rep kept telling me the 13th. He did give me a $25 coupon (which I have yet to see). Like I said, very frustrating. I hate being treated unfairly.

I ordered white /Turquoise /silver at 6:30 AM on Friday. Was given estimate of 10/2, but will arrive by 4:30 tomorrow afternoon

I can't stress it enough. Create a profile on FedEx.com and THEY will tell you when it ships. They are very helpful that way.

Thanks. I did that earlier today at your suggestion but still have no shipping info. Really quite irked at Motorola right now.

Are you just looking at Fedex InSight? Signed up, but nothing's showing (which is expected for now since I have the capability to be reasonable with my expectations of a major product launch)

Are you just looking at Fedex InSight? Signed up, but nothing's showing (which is expected for now since I have the capability to be reasonable with my expectations of a major product launch)

I just created a profile on the regular Fedex.com site. And whenever a package is shipped to be via FedEx, they notify me of the shipment's pickup (and I can easily see the other applicable details, including shipper, expected delivery date, etc.) from there. Nothing extravagant on my part. But FedEx tells me what they have regardless of what the shipper does/doesn't communicate to me.

I ordered mine a few hours ago with a black face with bamboo back pure edition. It said 4 days until I placed the order and then it changed to delivery of 10/9. I already got the "we're building it" email. Hope I get it in 4 days instead of the current estimated date of 10/9.

ordered on launch day less than 3 hours after it went live, est delivery 9/29.
Got the email friday that my order was delayed, probably because I have a white front and am a peasant Pure edition buyer, not a verizon one (they seem to be getting their phones faster even though I ordered and paid 10+ days before them lol).
Can't use fedex to tell me when it ships since I am having it shipped to my office, which is commercial (if anyone knows how I can still see shipments to my commercial address please tell me).
Pretty pissed at this point they pretty much have until sony's US event to get me a phone otherwise I'm ordering the Xperia Z3C with superior battery life and camera, all in a much smaller package (still wondering how sony could fit a 2600mah battery in such a small phone while moto couldn't).

I ordered on 9/26. estimated ship date is 10/22. Black front, cognac leather back, 32 GB. I dont know if I have a tracking # from fed ex yet because the primary account holder on the account ordered mine (my dad's girlfriend who gets 25% off Verizon prices). I've asked her to look for a tracking #, but all she said was the date was the same... which isn't really important. I just want to know if there's a tracking number on the order status page!

Just looked at motomaker- Black face with wood back and 32gb on verizon says 17 days.

To everyone whining about how they're being treated 'unfairly'- There are A LOT of factors at play here. Yes, I would like to get my new phone ASAP but I'm fine even waiting till the estimated Oct 22nd for it. From what I can guess, the long estimates are Motorola's way of covering their asses- You have to consider the logistical problems that have to be solved for a release of this scale. Most of the phones parts are the same but there are differences between carrier versions (GSM for AT&T, CDMA for Verizon, and another version for Pure) in addition to all the custom options for front, back, accents, and memory not to mention any engraving. Between all these variations and (I assume) multiple factories in different locations, of course not everyone is going to receive theirs in the order placed.
