Moto X 2014 vs Droid Maxx

Hi all!
Im looking for a gift for my girlfriend, i really like new moto x 2014 but afraid about dimensions, how do you think is it big for girl or not. If there are women who use it, please tell you impression and some comments , is it ok or not, how does it fit for your hand. The second variant is droid maxx 2013, which is slightly smaller i gues . What do you think what will be better as a gift?))

Moto x is just a better phone overally. But since it is a 0.2inches bigger it might be a difference. Anyway Droid Maxx have way better battery so it might be a better gift since I guess your girlfriend will not use moto X strength to the limits. So my vote goes for droid, better battey means more time without charger

Since I'm on AT&T I've never really had a choice, but both are good phones. I have had a 2013 Moto X and now have a 2014 Moto X, and my coworker has the Droid Maxx. Neither one of us has any issues with battery life and we're both okay with the size. My hands are smaller than hers, and I can handle either phone. Of course with the Moto X you can customize the phone with MotoMaker, so that might be a factor too.

Oh it's not easy to make a right decision..Just for curious What design of 2014 Moto X have you chosen? wood or leather?
