Sorry, not spam. Motorola has a well deserved reputation for underwhelming cameras so it's reasonable to be skeptical. I am hopeful that this will be a significant improvement. There's so much to like about Motorola cell phones that it's a shame when their generally weaker cameras hold them back.
What I'm guessing from what we've seen so far is that you will get a camera that ends up ranking around the top 5 for this year which will meet Moto's promise of a much better camera than their previous years, but won't be up to snuff for motion shots. Probably going to be similar to what you can do with the Z3+ camera which is pretty good but not top of the line. The inclusion of an extra night mode for low light shots is encouraging because low light quality is always a bone of contention for smartphone cameras

^ I agree. That seems quite reasonable. A significant improvement is nothing to sneeze at. With everything else Moto brings to the table, that will be good enough for me.
