What one is everyone going to use? Any diff in battery life between the two?

I like Moto display much better. I like how the notifications continually pulse. On ambient if you miss the pulse when it comes in you are out of luck until you pick it up

Moto Display hands down. I love being able to wave my hand over the screen to see the latest notifications.

Moto display here too. I find myself waving my hand over other devices now. Also, I saw a video of Ambient and it seemed to not activate 100% of the time on the Moto X, so it may require some updates.

Ambient Display doesn't wake up by IR sensor or when you pick it up and I notice sometimes I hear an alert but it doesn't show up on ambient display. All in all it feels pretty flakey and being pretty isn't enough so I'm going back to Active Display after only one day.

I wish there was a way to wake up the ambient display using the moto x wave sensor. :'(

Is it possible to be activated via an Xposed module?
I would pay for such a module.
