Aww man this is pretty awesome guys. Good luck hopefully none of you guys run into any bugs. I have the pure edition as well so I'll be checking my phone every 3 minutes for the foreseeable future. Did you guys check for the update or were you just prompted?

Initial impressions.. Looks and plays smooth.. There are no lagging (for some reason I expected).. I was a bit apprehensive about integrating chrome tabs into background apps.. But you can also make it old style in chrome settings..

My battery is currently at 51%and it predicts I have about 2hrs left.. I'm not sure how it predicts the battery usage. And I'm constantly using (screen on) since update.. Dunno how it will work with mixed usage..

Tried the first user mode.. It has only one option for guest user mode.. 'Allow/disable calls'. There could be more options for that..

Feel that keyboard is little bit not smart... If I type a new word (I might wanna add to my dictionary right after), it does all the other words in the word suggestions.. So to add to dictionary, I have to click one the red lined word again to add to dictionary.. In previous version I was able to add as and when I was typing it, as the same word would show up in the word suggestions above..

One more thing.. Gmail with this material design is just so awesome.. It just fits!

Another thing about looks.. The top notification bar, changes it's color according to the color of the apps you are in. Gmail app had a red background, so the notifications bay becomes red.. Moto app, makes the bar blue.. Settings makes it dark greenish gray, corresponding to the theme..

I have noticed that the smart lock option for nfc tags does not seem to work with the moto skip dots. It will sync them but if you turn your screen off and back on it will not unlock the device when it is held up to the dot.

Maybe that's why the Skip Tag/Dots say "first gen only". http://forums.androidcentral.com/moto-x-2014/456897-motorola-skip-not-compatible.html

Pure Edition and haven't gotten it yet either. It will be rolled out soon enough.

I see some problem with attentive display.. It works only on attentive display demo.. On any other screen/app it just dims and locks off in the time set..

This is truly annoying as I use my phone a lot to read.. I hope they fix it soon!

No update here in the Los Angeles area. I won't be able to download till I get home on WiFi anyway, but it'd be nice to see an updating waiting for me.

No real big camera improvements here. Also I have a pure edition and I didn't sign up for any soak tests. Got the notification this morning. So far so good haven't gotten to everything yet though !
