Moto X always loses Chromecast connection

When I cast to my Chromecast, the connection only lasts a few minutes. The video keeps playing, but I no longer have control unless I reconnect starting a new video. The same thing happens with other Chromecasts, but not with other devices on my Chromecast. Had anyone else experienced this?

I have this issue when using MGO but I think it is by design. As soon as I wake my phone it reconnects.

My chromecast has worked equally well with my 14x as with my note 10 14. Ocasionally when i disconnect from chromecast the media keeps playing on my tv, though this has occurred on both devices.

My 2014 X doesn't disconnect, but it stutters quite a bit. My S4 suffers very little stuttering

Every device I've ever used with Chromecast has had issues disconnecting randomly.

I primarily use my nexus 7 for casting and it had this issue but it hasn't done it since 5.0 that I've noticed.
