The sale seems to be on all carriers no-contract phones and runs until the end of the month. Additionally cases are 50% off and screen protectors are 25% off.

I think on-contract prices are now reduced too. At least it's true for Sprint, not sure about others.

I'm about to buy one, but have a question:

Summary on the right says that there's an additionial tax of $20.31
but at the Payment Information it show the price without tax!

How will they charge me that tax?

They will add the tax into the total price after you enter your exact address. I think it shows up only as "estimated tax" but it is added into the total price. In my case, the total that was shown was the total charged; I'm not really sure why they state "estimated".

Convinced my girlfriend it was time to ditch her mostly broken Samsung GS2 and get a new phone.

After she messed with my LG G3 for the past few days she decided she did not want a large device.

I mentioned that the Moto X is a high quality device that would not cost much on this sale and that the size would be perfect for her.

We ordered it last night through Moto Maker, settled on a color scheme, chose 32 gb, and we then ordered an otterbox case from Amazon.

I think she is going to be very happy with it.
