Moto x force to get android N?

Title. Probably hard to predict, but this phone is not even a year old and I'm currently only on 6.0 with december patch. It would be a shame if Lenovo has ruined it by depriving last year's devices of regular updates.

At this point the only devices assured to get N are the Nexus devices for which there is beta support, the new Nexus likely to be released in the fall, the Pixel C and maybe the Sony device that has beta support. Any other device (including the upcoming new Note device) is anyone's guess.

Android N is a beta and I doubt it will go to other than Nexus devices. Of course, I don't know. When Android N becomes Android 6.6 or Android 7 or Nougat or Nutella or whatever, I believe it will be up to the various vendors to put it out for their phones.
