Having a thread dedicated to tasker profiles for the moto x could be great in helping each other make our phones even better so I thought i would start.
I have been using my touchless controls a lot (because I can) and realized that I didn't like my screen staying on the entire length of my timeout time. So I made a tasker profile that changes the display timeout to 15 seconds when the phone is face up and the google search application is active. So far this seems to fix my ocd of having the display off when sitting idle.
Tasker setup:
Triggers: 1) State > Sensor > Orientation > Face up
2) Application > Google
Tasks: "Short Timeout" - Display > Display Timeout > 15 seconds
