You will need to spend more for the 32GB option too.
I love how you just assume he needs 32gb. Many people don't. Someday this will be understood...nah, no it won't, who am I trying to kid.

The Leather and the Wood backs cost $25 more for premium material. The other customizations are all included at $499 price.

I love how you assume that I assumed anything. I was only pointing out there was another customization option for an extra charge not included in the $499 base cost. Maybe if you read through the thread instead you might have figured it out. But nah, who am I trying to kid!
Gotta love those internet smart mouth tough guys!
Will the 32gb variant be 50 or 100 dollars more ?
"You will need to spend more" That's what you said. Not "32GB will cost more if you want to go with that option" but "You will need to spend more" You clearly stated as a fact what he needed to do without even offering a choice. But you're right, I shouldn't have assumed anything. I assumed you knew the meaning of the words you used when clearly you did not. My apologies.

You seem to be bit flaky about the whole phone owning thing. Maybe you should chill for a few weeks, smoke a few joints, and let someone else decide for you.
My question to you is how on earth can you have spent enough time on this site to have 700+ posts and still think there is any meaning whatsoever to benchmark scores?
Regardless how it was worded, your post comes off very opinionated and confrontational. I looked at some of your other posts and it seems to be a pattern.

I have nothing else to say except to keep your assumptions to yourself as the reply was not even to you to begin with. You just wanted to further your crusade on how you can manage on 16gb when others cant.
Moto X - Pure Edition*- *The off-contract*Moto X*is available SIM unlocked and with an unlockable bootloader for $499.99 USD.
Two (possibly dumb) questions:
1. Is this Pure Edition basically the same as what was called a developer edition (gsm) for the '13 model?
2. If one plans to buy off-contract and is on AT&T, is there any downside to buying the Pure X, or any advantage to buying an AT&T model? The Pure seems like a no brainer in my case, but am I missing something?
Thanks for any input.
The one thing I'd like clarified about the Pure Edition is if it comes with the Motorola "Extras". A few of the articles I'm reading indicate it is going to be closer to a GPE device, with only stock Android and no Moto software. I'd really like it confirmed that it does come with the Touchless controls, Active notifications, etc.

The only thing interesting about the Moto X is the Motorola software. Without out, it's just an uninspiring run of the mill phone compared to the other manufacturers recent releases. The one thing I'd like clarified about the Pure Edition is if it comes with the Motorola "Extras". The email that I just received from them (Motorola) indicates that the Pure Edition will run Pure Android (AOSP?). That is what I'd like more clarification on, what do they mean by the term "Pure Android"? See attached screenshot of the email they sent.

Yes if you specifically buy the Sprint version. And then later on the line hope that someone on XDA will figure out a way to sim unlock it to make it work on GSM network (which they did for the original Moto X Sprint.)I wonder if this will work on Sprint like the Nexus 5.
