Quite the week for Android fans! As much as I love the new Moto X Style, I plan on seeing what the Nexus has before upgrading.
Personally, my days of expensive, carrier phones with bloatware and skins are over. I need to replace my Nexus 4 and S4, so I put myself on the OP2 invite list, and plan on getting 2 of the 3.
The only major thing missing from the Style is a bigger battery. When I saw the Play version had 3630 mAh, I couldn't help but be a little disappointed, considering the 5.7" 1440p display.
I'm hoping the Nexus either offers a 5.2" 1080p with at least 3000 mAh and/or 5.7" 1440p with 3500 mAh. If that's the case, I might even get both Nexus phones should they released two as rumored. I'd also like to see a fingerprint scanner and front speakers. The only thing that'll prevent me from buying at least one Nexus, would be an inferior battery/display ratio.
All things being equal, I prefer the Moto X Style cause of the reasonable price and the extra features. IMO it has the best UX out there, and that is becoming more and more my biggest priority. Also, I'm not in a huge rush to have Android M, since getting the newest operating system isn't as big a deal as it once was.
What are some must have features, or deal breakers you need to see in the upcoming Nexus phone(s) to hold out over the Moto X Style?
