Moto Xactive notification ringtone question

I'm looking at a moto x and like the active notification concept but I have a question. Does the active notification system allow for notification ringtones? In other words do you get an audible notification along with the active notification and if so can you set it up to repeat the notification sound every 5 minutes or so?

You get a notification sound when you get a message. Has nothing to do with active notification though. The whole point is to have a quick glance to the notification without having to open the phone. Which prolongs battery life. It will also pulse on and off when you have a message.

You could probably use LightFlow to generate repeating sounds.

Like most phones, sound is played when the event happens, after that only visual reminder is generated...

Thanks for the feedback...I was hoping to avoid light flow as it can be a bit buggy. I may find that the active notifications will be good enough.
