Motorola ADB interface

When connecting the Maxx to my windows 7 PC the Motorola ADB interface driver is giving me a yellow exclamation point in the device manager. I downloaded the Motorola drivers but the same thing happens. I can see the phone in windows explorer and copy files to and from. I just wonder why the Motorola ADB interface is not working.

Ideas?
