Motorola Bionic and 2012 Honda Civic bluetooth problem

Had to take my Motorola Bionic back (4G/3G connection problems and randomly not able to turn phone on - problem to discuss another day). When I got the phone back in late September, I had a problem connecting to my 2012 Honda Civic bluetooth. It kept connecting and disconnecting and killing the battery as a result. I found a forum at that time that addressed the problem and was able to fix it. I believe it was a setting on my phone. I now have to do the same with this new Bionic and can't find the forum. Helpful suggestions are appreciated. I am not interested in forum venting or opinion, just a solution. Thank you!

I read your post from last December about Bluetooth dropping . I just got a 2012 Honda Civic with navigation. I am having the same problem with my Bionic. It seems to drop and reconnect about every 305 seconds. I was wondering if you ever found a solution. I have just started the process of looking.

Might be something with the Honda receiver in general. I use my Bionic with a JVC KW-XR810 without issue and during the day paired to my computer via an ASUS BT211 both are rock solid.

Doing a Google search it looks like the Honda Head units have had some various issues:

Have you had issues w/other devices and this Honda receiver?
