Just picked up my BN Turbo yesterday (and kept my unlimited data!) - here's my setup so far.
Thinking I'm going to change up a few things, but I'm pleased so far; I'm not finding myself fidgeting with settings instead of my school work, so I think that's a good sign.

I believe any launcher will let you get rid of the google search bar. Once you've enabled an alternate launcher, you can delete it like any other screen object.

Nova launcher and a free icon pack sc 167 from the store. I believe there were different colors on there.

It is from Beautiful Widgets with a downloaded Material theme. It resizes seamlessly in landscape mode. The app had been getting a little long in the tooth, but they have made some nice improvements lately.
