Motorola Has 14 Days left.....!!!

Motorola has 14 days left to release the update for the SD Card.....If its not released by the time the Acer tablet is released, Im returning my wifi XOOM to Costco and spending it on Acer...Someone who actually has working products at release date....

How about anyone else?? Isent it ridicolous to see the Sd card slot not working still!!!!

I'm looking at the Transformer right now, but I have to admit, the Acer is a sweet looking tablet...

While I'm quite happy with the Xoom (not the screen), I don't mind checking out the Transformer with its IPS screen. The Acer for its sexy design (hopefully it's builds well).

If the keyboard dock is reasonably priced and the build quality is good, then i think ima jump ship to the transformer too.

Is it a Moto fix or a Honeycomb thing? If it is Honeycomb, it has to come from Google and won't be working on the other tabs either.

Please post this on the Acer tablet forum. We would prefer not to hear your whining about the Xoom. So, I say do not let the Motorola door hit you on the $#% on your way over to Acer.

It "works" on the Transformer because they essentially hacked it. The SD card is mounted as a sub-folder of the internal storage. The solution from Google should seamlessly integrate the internal and external storage.

+1. The sooner these ridiculous threads disappear the better. Why anyone thinks the vast majority of Xoom owners care why someone is returning their Xoom is beyond me. The same people will be littering the Transformer forums, assuming they even exist, with the same complaints. Good riddance.

Movies and lots of music I'd assume. I know my 64 gb iPod is full (can't wait till I can ditch that thing).

If I had to guess I'd expect a major update to Honeycomb around Google IO.

If I was able to have unlimited data I would put everything on the cloud. Right now 32GB is enough as I only have about 20GB of music. Yes I listen to all of my music. While at work I hit shuffel play when I get in at 7:00 and dont stop it till I go home at 4:00 - 6:00.

I can also wait on the SD card fix.
