Its weird wording to be sure. 30 day returns on phones, 14 day to change your moto x no questions asked. But...what's the RETURN policy on a moto maker x? The paper that comes with the phone says 14 days. Maybe I'm an ***** but I didn't think the site was clear.

I read it that the non-moto maker phones have 30 days. I believe those who say they get told something different by Motorola reps, though and to try to fight that would mean a trip to court or at least threatening it.

Unless I misunderstand how active notifications work, the screen will show the notification as it comes in and then it goes dark. Unless I'm looking at it I'll miss the notification until I pick the phone up. Is that correct?

Active Display will breath the notifications. The screen will light up for 2 seconds and sleep for 6 seconds. Changing the phone orientation as you're picking it up or out of your pocket will also light up the display.

So how do you return the Moto X to Motorola. I've searched the site over and would like to avoid calling their stellar customer service line.

Call them. They answered yesterday in 2 minutes at 7 pm est and I had my return label during the call via email.
