Motorola X Phone

Id love to see these specs:

Snapdragon 800 at 2.0 GHz
32 GB storage (lets face it, wont have microSD)
1080p screen at 4.7-5.0 inches
13MP camera with improved low-light, stability, etc (just hoping for more consistent quality shots)
Improved battery for at least 24h of moderate use

Im flexible on software - stock android would be great but moto's UI has come leaps and bounds - maybe more on the way?

What do you guys think? What have you guys liked in terms of build materials, etc?

I wouldn't give up on the sdcard slot... The RAZR HDs have them

The HDs were too far along in development for Google to have much influence.

So is this phone unless it is a q3 release. Besides that, Google will not have much to do with moto.

If it does not receive the latest version of android with nexus like speed then I will pass. I am done with manufacturers/carriers holding up updates. Nexus all the way.

Doesn't the Razr HD's design history predate Google's purchase/influence of Motorola? Isn't that one of the last pre-Google Motorola devices?

I could be wrong about that, but that was my understanding...

Thanks

Here is the ultimate question. Will moto's ed bootloader policy affect it. I. E. Only unlocked devices get unlock bootloader.

If this happens after all the hype I will piss myself laughing...

Well Google is rumored to be making a touchscreen Chrome device..

Maybe the X is a combo Android / Chrome OS device...

Would fit with the rumor about all of Google services integrated like never before....hmmmm. Dual boot? Or Webtop into Chrome OS?

I'm just hoping for an SD card slot and a gigantic battery, I hate having to conserve battery life to last a day.

If it is gonna use a Tegra 4i, I wanna know how is Tegra with LTE now? And how is battery life with Tegra now? Is it still using the 4 +1.... did that actually help....

Every manufacturer is working on a "next phone" which will naturally be the ultimate experience and the greatest smartphone ever.

That's complete speculation... No source of any kind

So it is mere coincidence that the article was published on Dec 21 2012 talking about buttons on the back of a phone and now google patents the technology eh?

You are correct; also, the SD cards are not supported by stock. The closer this is to stock, the less likely the inclusion of support becomes.
