Move Pics from Phone to SD Card-Pls Help

My storage is so full that it will not even let me access my pictures on my phone and I have a Mac and at the store they told me to plug my phone into my computer and I can copy and paste from phone to card that way but I cannot see where to actually do that....

If you copy and paste to be sure it is moved, don't forget to delete from the phone. Once you have it down....cut and paste so there is not a copy left behind.

I have an android, samsung exhilerate. I do not have "file manager". When I click on gallery, there is no "move" option at all, even when I select all pics. When i go in under storage, there is no option to save future pics to ext sd or move existing pics. When I go into camera, there is no setting even labeled storage or anything close to it. I do not understand what the problem is. I do not understand why I have no options. This is not the first time I have used a new sd card and I don't remember it being such a pain in the ***. I do not have any of the screens pictured above.

Welcome to the forums!
I do not have "file manager".
The name of the app on my phone is 'My files', but if for some reason your phone does not have a built-in file manager you can download one from the Google Play Store. I also use ES File Explorer http://market.android.com/details?id=com.estrongs.android.pop but it may not be the most intuitive file manager out there.
When I click on gallery, there is no "move" option at all, even when I select all pics.
Once you select a picture in the Gallery app

press the Menu button and you'll see a list of options that includes 'Move'

Once you select that you'll see a list of albums that you can move the picture(s) into.

You'll have to know ahead of time where those albums are stored.
When i go in under storage, there is no option to save future pics to ext sd or move existing pics.
True - the Storage view is really only intended to show you how much space is used by various parts of the OS and data.
When I go into camera, there is no setting even labeled storage or anything close to it.
When you're in the Camera app press the Gear icon and it'll show a list of the available Settings - scroll down near the bottom and you should see the Storage option

this will allow you to choose between the internal memory and SD card.

Thank you for that info. I used your information to get my photos to the SD card on my LG Volt. (Android) And while I was there, I set a schedule for backing up info once a month to the 32 GB SD card. I'm off now to figure out how to delete messges/phone calls/history.. I'm hoping it's a 1 or 2 click thing to remove it all, all at once. Again thank you. (I'm a newby to the smart phone era) Mary

Please help. I bought and installed my wife's sd card after she had activated her phone. I am now looking for a way to transfer her pics which are currently stored on the internal memory of the phone to the sd card. I have searched several sources and I can't seem to find an easy way to do it from the phone. Any ideas or help will be appreciated.
