Movies keep freezing

Hey guys. Having a weird problem and hopefully someone can help me out. I have thrown a bunch of movies (mp4) onto my class 10 SanDisk micro sd however they are freezing and locking up the whole tab basically. I have tried mx, vlc and the default player. Sometimes it will play for 5 or 10 minutes however it will freeze at some point. I have the 16gb WiFi 10.5. Any suggestions would be great. I have tried 3 movies. One plays great with no issues however the other two have the same problem. Cheers

Have u checked those are full movies? If you download an incomplete movie which it sounds like they will freeze.

I transfered the movies to internal storage and they worked fine. Swapped out the SanDisk sd card for a samsung evo and all is good it the world again. Put the SanDisk card in my S5 and it works fine. Go figure. I know the evo is a hell of a lot newer. Cheers for replying.
