Have any of you tried to any movies on the nexus? I put an avi on and it said unsupported. my fascinate would play any file I threw at it. Is there a catch all movie player I should download?

All I did was copy files from my computer directly to the phone with the usb cable.

I played a couple of files. Will have to check what they were. Dice payer payed them both but the stock player did not, I got the not supported message, one of them started playing fine but gave the message when i fast fwd into the movie a little. I guess it is supported as long as you don't jumpound in the movie.

Samsungs almost always have DivX support, which is probably why. DivX was removed in the OTA that went out today, but they're re-adding it later

Seriously? So I gotta wait a while to play my movies? Is there a alternative player that will play the divx avi/mkv stuff?

RockPlayer will do almost anything, or convert the files before transferring
