I have a Lenovo B phone running Android 6.0. I have the SD card set to be used as Internal storage and I can move almost all non system apps to the card including various BBC and other apps etc. I also have a Vodafone Prime 7 (VFD 600) running Android 6.01 which I have also set the SD card as internal storage. However only about 1/4 of apps can be moved to the SD card. Several apps which can be stored on the SD card on version 6.0 do not give me the option to move to SD card in Android 6.01. Have I missed something?. I formatted the phone and SD card and also rebooted the phone. Any help appreciated.

If you have the SD card formatted as internal storage, then there is no SD card to move the apps to. The internal storage and SD card are now just storage with the OS deciding where files get put.

Since Android 6, the feature to put apps on the SD card has been slowly getting removed from the OS. Different phone makers have decided to support or not support the feature.

Whether or not an app can be moved to an SD card is controlled by the app developer, by default the answer is "no". If the app dev lets this happen, he decides which parts can be moved, usually not all parts.
