I'm going up to a Samsung Galaxy S7 edge from S6 edge in a couple of days and I'm sure there is really not much difference. But would appreciate any tips
Thankyou

Tip #1: Get a case. Hehe. You come from an Edge device, so I'm sure you'll know this already, but even though the S7 Edge's curves are tighter than the 6, since the device is so ridiculously thin and light, holding it without a case can cause your hands to touch the edges and cause 'false' inputs.

Don't get a case. This phone is beautiful, use it! And be careful.

I agree, the phone without one looks amazing. But for most of us it helps A LOT to keep the phone more manageable and keep false presses to a minimum when you add that bit of thickness around it with a case. But yeah, I go back and forth with/without a case because the device itself looks stunning.

OP:

I scratched my head when I first read this earlier this afternoon. I see it again and I have to wonder: If you're convinced that there's no real difference between the S6 and S7 edge models, then why buy the new one? It's a lot of money for no perceived benefit, isn't it?

Maybe consider the note 7? The s7 edge is a nice phone but the new note is the next level.
